What a horrendous tragedy.  The article says the crossing barricades were "not" down when the school bus tried to cross.

Almost all of the 50 fatalities were children between the age of 5 and 8 years old.

There are no words to describe how the parents and families of these children must feel.

My deepest condolences go out to all the surviving family members.
